Geriatric Oncology: Educating Nurses to Improve Quality Care
This NCI-funded national project is a two and a half day program for oncology nurses to increase their knowledge of caring for older adults with cancer. For more information, please click here.

ASCO Geriatric Oncology Curriculum
The ASCO Geriatric Oncology Curriculum includes a review of core principles relating to the care of older patients with cancer. The practical content enhances the understanding of some of the unique issues relating to the care of older patients including current cancer and aging trends, the physiological aspects of aging, assessment of the older cancer patient, and pharmacological considerations. Summer Research Institute in Geriatric Mental Health (SRI)
SRI is a national program to promote the career advancement of talented post-residency (MD or DO) and post-doctoral (PhD, PsyD, or PharmD) fellows and other early stage investigators who hold promise for a research career in geriatric mental health translational, interventions, or services research. SRI meets as an annual five day research career development institute for a competitively selected set of trainees that provides learning opportunities via one-to-one and group mentoring.
