Gero-Onc Nursing Resources
The overall strategy of this online content is to educate oncology nurses in geriatrics and provide training from oncology experts. Our goal is to provide you with geriatric skills to implement and communicate the knowledge gained in your home settings. Participants should consider developing goals/initiatives to improve care of older adults with cancer and implement an action plan for your care setting. Engage your stakeholders such as your manager, administrator, educator, or staff nurse(s) to be part of your team and help you implement geriatric initiatives.
These archived presentations consists of lecture and case studies. Also, included are references, resources, tools, handouts for your use. You may share your ongoing progress via the Gero-Oncology Nursing Community (G-ONC) conference call with your peers which provides support throughout the implementation process.
